Home Buyer Education Class Schedule

Course Details 

Community Outreach Training Center offers Home Buyer Education classes for individuals interested in purchasing a home.  

The classes will include: 

* Pre-Purchase Decision
* Credit and Credit Report
* Budget and Money Management 
* Pre-Purchase Planning
* Special Loan Programs
* Shopping for a house
* Closing on the loan 

Applicants are required to attend two three-hour classes.  (See chart below for upcoming classes). Applicants will also be responsible for a registration fee of $80.00 for someone filing single, $100.00 for a couple, $125 for CHIP referred clients.

Upon completion of the course, applicants are required to complete a one-on-one counseling session with an approved HUD counselor at the Community Outreach Training Center.  The session may last anywhere from 1-2 hours and is tailored to each applicant.
